Scentsy Story
Hello, I am Terri Jones and I live in Katy, Texas. I have lived in Texas all my life. I love helping others.
I attended an online party in this year of COVID for my beautiful nieces best friend, Jolene in Virginia. Jamie Ricker Edwards was our Consultant/Director for this party. I decided to have an online party from that party so I could earn my free and half priced goodies. My party did so well, in the first couple of weeks I was at $770 so Jamie asked me if I would like to be a consultant. First I said no, there are so many consultants out there. I thought about it and Jamie revisited the question again telling me how well she has done. I decided to do it!
I joined Scentsy because I love the products and how they work. It is like being in a big supportive family. You have a lot of help and support.
I am a Breast Cancer survivor, 3 years now. I found out in November of 2016 that I had Breast Cancer. I was so scared. January of 2017 my place of employment of where I had finally landed my dream job had a mass work reduction layoff. I was in the Financial Industry. I was included in the layoff. I was devastated. Needless to say I could not job search for almost the next two years.
I was going through my treatment and it took a massive toll on my body.
In late 2018 I began job searching in the field I had been working in for 36+ years, no luck finding a job much less the dream career I had been doing.
A friend of mine was a school bus driver and told me I should try it. I finally decided to drive a bus for the school district. They called me in for an interview and I was hired. The job was not paying near what I was use to before but after zero pay for 3 years it was a God send. I love the children and getting them safely to and from school.
I have been given this time by God to add this new venture and career of being a Scentsy Consultant.
I am going to make this my new journey to grow my business in a Faith based company and brighten the lives of others.
I hope I can be of help and add to other future Consultants journeys to help them be successful.
I love that Scentsy is a Christian based company. God guides me and protects me each and every day.
I am looking forward to growing my life long business with Scentsy and making this my full time career.
